We had some fantastic costumes and the children enjoyed sharing a story with their peers from different classes, talking about the character they had come dressed as and taking part in a book scavenger hunt.
Reading promotes achievement in all subjects, not just English. Children who are good readers tend to achieve better across the curriculum.
