We have really enjoyed our first two week Art block and have learnt lots of new information about impressionist art. We have enjoyed the challenge of working quickly outside (even in the cold) , exploring the light and using different art materials to try create the same effect as Monet.
We have used our new artistic skills to develop a 'London themed' print, having studied famous London landmarks that we will see next month! We then decided to paint our designs on to a canvas bag for life, inspired by Banksy's use of stencils.
Once our bags for life are finished we intend to share them, with the rest of the school and parents, in a very unique way! Watch this space...
