Year 3 and 4

Welcome to Year 3/4 Eucalyptus Class!

Welcome to Eucalyptus Class – Spring Term!

Spring has arrived, and Eucalyptus Class is ready to bloom! In our Year 3/4 classroom, Mrs Hibbert, together with our wonderful teaching assistants Mrs Morgan, Mrs Higginson, and Miss Wainwright, will be guiding and supporting every child as we embark on an exciting journey of learning.

This term promises lots of enjoyment and flourishing growth. We’ll explore new ideas, tackle challenges, and celebrate successes together. Just like the eucalyptus plant that inspires our name, we value love, growth, and health, creating a classroom where everyone feels cared for and encouraged to thrive.

With curiosity leading the way, we’ll dive into fascinating topics, develop new skills, and nurture our creativity. Every day is an opportunity to learn, laugh, and grow stronger—both as individuals and as a team.

Here’s to a spring term full of excitement, progress, and shared achievements in Eucalyptus Class!

Forest School

Our Year 3/4 class absolutely love their time at Forest School! Each session gives the children the opportunity to step outdoors, explore nature, and learn through hands-on experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Forest School encourages curiosity, teamwork, and resilience. Through activities such as den building, exploring natural materials, imaginative play, and learning how to manage risks safely, the children develop confidence, independence, and physical skills. Working together outdoors also helps strengthen friendships, communication, and problem-solving skills and a deep connection to the environment while improving mental well-being, focus, and social skills, making learning holistic and fun.

We have seen our Year 3/4 children become calmer, more focused, and increasingly proud of their achievements. Forest School supports the whole child—mind, body, and wellbeing—and is a valued and much-loved part of our learning journey.
