Welcome to Eucalyptus Class – Summer Term
Welcome to Eucalyptus Class, our mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class! We are really looking forward to an exciting and inspiring Summer Term, full of learning, creativity and fun.
Eucalyptus Class is a welcoming, supportive and flourishing environment where all children are encouraged to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. Like the eucalyptus plant, our class flourishes with resilience, growth and freshness, and we celebrate the individual strengths and achievements of every child
Throughout the Summer Term, our children will enjoy a range of engaging and purposeful learning experiences across the curriculum. Lessons will include:
- Practical and hands-on activities
- Opportunities to develop independence and resilience
- Collaborative group work
- Celebrating progress and achievements
Learning is carefully planned to meet the needs of both year groups, providing appropriate challenge and support for all learners.
We value strong partnerships with parents and carers and appreciate your continued support. Please check the class webpage regularly for updates, key information and photographs celebrating our learning throughout the term.
Thank you for being part of our Eucalyptus Class community — we’re looking forward to a fantastic Summer Term together!
Forest School
Our Year 3/4 class absolutely love their time at Forest School! Each session gives the children the opportunity to step outdoors, explore nature, and learn through hands-on experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Forest School encourages curiosity, teamwork, and resilience. Through activities such as den building, exploring natural materials, imaginative play, and learning how to manage risks safely, the children develop confidence, independence, and physical skills. Working together outdoors also helps strengthen friendships, communication, and problem-solving skills and a deep connection to the environment while improving mental well-being, focus, and social skills, making learning holistic and fun.
We have seen our Year 3/4 children become calmer, more focused, and increasingly proud of their achievements. Forest School supports the whole child—mind, body, and wellbeing—and is a valued and much-loved part of our learning journey.
