Eucalyptus class enjoyed two fascinating educational visits this term: Headingley Water Treatment Centre and the Hindu Temple of the Gorkha Regiment at Catterick Garrison. At Headingley, we learned about the journey water takes before it reaches our homes, including how it is cleaned and made safe to use. We also explored the importance of water safety and discussed ways we can reduce our water usage to help protect the environment. At the Hindu Temple, we gained a valuable insight into the Hindu faith. We learned about Hindu Gods and how Hindus celebrate and practise their religion. Some of us also chose to wear a bindi. These visits provided memorable experiences and helped bring our learning to life.
