Year 6’s
Today, we say a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 6 pupils as they take their next big step into secondary school. It’s been a joy to watch you grow, learn, and shine during your time with us.

Mrs Curzon also reflected on the year: “What a year! From our adventurous residential trip to Peat Rigg, surviving SATs, and welcoming so many exciting visitors through our doors, there’s never been a dull moment. Adams’ class has made amazing strides in the classroom. I’ve watched everyone grow—not just academically, but in kindness, confidence and resilience. You should all be incredibly proud of how far you’ve come. I certainly am.

Miss Johnson shared this heartfelt message: “Watching you grow, learn and support one another has been one of the greatest joys of this year. Each and every one of our Year 6 children has shown kindness, resilience, and a brilliant sense of humour! Be confident—you are all capable of amazing things. You will be missed more than you know, but I can’t wait to hear all about the wonderful things you’ll go on to do.”
To our wonderful Year 6s: I wish you all the luck in the world as you head off on your next adventure. You’ll be brilliant—and I’ll miss you more than you know. Wishing everyone a sunny, fun-filled and well-deserved summer break!”
We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved and the kind, confident individuals you’ve become. As you move on to new adventures, remember—you’ll always be part of our school family.

Good luck in your new schools, Year 6! We’ll miss you!
