World Book Day

What a lovely World Book Day we have had! Our eyes and ears feasted upon Michael Rosen’s performed poetry (our favourite was ‘Chocolate Cake’), we became illustrators using Quentin Blake’s step-by-step Willy Wonka videos and we wrote our own stories inspired by the characters we dressed up as for the day. We loved sharing our books and reading to each other too.
