A Lovely Library Adventure for Willow Class

Willow Class paid Ripon Library a visit this week! Our visit began with a beautiful autumnal walk into Ripon, and we even enjoyed a bus ride back, with everyone confidently asking for their own ticket and paying their fare.

At the library, we explored the children’s section and learnt how to make the most of all the different areas. Best of all, every member of Willow Class now has their very own library card! The children were able to use their new cards straight away, choosing a book to borrow and take home.

A huge thank you to Harriet at Ripon Library, who showed us around and helped us feel at home. She also treated us to a storytime at the end of our visit, when we listened to Julia Donaldson’s Gruffalo Granny.

We couldn’t believe that a library card allows us to borrow up to 30 books at a time. Imagine all those reading adventures! What an exciting place to be able to visit. We can’t wait to go back!
