Early Years Explorers!

This term has been full of wonderful hands-on learning in our Early Years classroom! We believe that children learn best when they are encouraged to explore, investigate, create, and play—and we’ve certainly been busy doing just that.

Through these playful experiences, our children build crucial skills:
🌱 Curiosity and confidence as they test ideas and try new things
👐 Fine motor and sensory development through touching, scooping, mixing, pouring, and handling different materials
💬 Communication and language growth as they talk about what they notice and share ideas with friends
🎨 Imagination and creativity as they turn everyday objects into something magical
🤝 Social skills as they work together, take turns, and learn from one another
… and of course, they have lots of fun along the way!

Take a peek at some of the exciting exploration activities we’ve enjoyed so far this term:
✨ having fun with glow sticks in the water tray
✨ making fat cakes for the birds
 ✨ exploring pumpkins—inside and out!
✨ creating an autumnal soup using seasonal vegetables
 ✨ colour mixing with foam
✨ making birthday cakes with pool noodles and foam

We love watching the children learn through play—every splash, scoop, squish, and smile is part of their journey. Here’s to many more adventures as we continue to inspire curiosity and joyful discovery! 🍂💛
