Maths Lesson: Mastering Long Multiplication

This week in our maths lessons, we have been focussing on building confidence with long multiplication. The children worked step-by-step to multiply larger numbers, practicing careful alignment and carrying digits correctly.

We explored strategies to check answers and discussed why understanding place value is so important in these calculations. Everyone showed fantastic perseverance and accuracy—well done!

The class enjoyed the challenge and celebrated their success in solving big problems!
