Planning and writing a dilemma narrative inspired by King Kong by Anthony Browne.

Year 5 and 6 have been working incredibly hard this week, planning and writing a dilemma narrative inspired by King Kong by Anthony Browne. The children explored how to build tension and develop characters through dialogue whilst using adjectival phrases, figurative language and expanded noun phrases to describe terrifying monsters! The classroom has been full of creativity, focus and thoughtful discussion as everyone worked to make their stories exciting and engaging. Mrs Curzon can’t wait to read them all!
