Sports Week
We’ve had an action-packed and exciting Sports Week filled with energy, teamwork, and new experiences! We kicked things off with EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2 enjoying sessions on balance bikes, building confidence and coordination on two wheels. Years 1, 2, 5 & 6 took part in an Intra-Competition led by Mr Crooks, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship in friendly competition. Year 6 had a fantastic time on Wednesday and Thursday completing their Bikeability training, learning how to ride safely and confidently on the roads. Meanwhile, Years 3 & 4 had the opportunity to try out both tennis and ballet, exploring different ways to stay active and express themselves. To round off the week, Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 all had a go at cricket, with expert coaching from Mrs Wootton, learning new techniques and enjoying the game. A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came to support Sports Day—we hope you had as much fun as we did! A big well done to Amethyst, who were crowned the Sports Day champions! We wrapped up this brilliant week with a fantastic Family Fun session, which included yoga,
ball games, hobbyhorse dressage, and orienteering—a perfect way to celebrate a week of movement, laughter, and family spirit.
