Nursery and Reception

Welcome to Early Years

“Flourishing together through play, curiosity, and care.”

Our Early Years class is a vibrant and nurturing space where children aged 3–5 (Nursery and Reception) begin their exciting learning journey. We believe that every child thrives when they feel confident, curious, and inspired. That’s why our classroom—and our outdoor areas—are designed to encourage independence, exploration, and creativity.

Outdoor learning is at the heart of what we do. Children have daily opportunities to play and learn outside, whatever the weather! From building dens and investigating nature to developing physical skills and teamwork, our outdoor provision helps children grow in confidence and discover the world around them in a hands-on way.

Young children learn best when they are engaged and motivated, so we create an environment that sparks imagination and fosters a lifelong love of learning.

Our highly trained and passionate Early Years team brings expertise, care, and creativity to every moment.  Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, we tailor activities to the children’s interests, making every day full of discovery and fun.  From magical Fairytales to exploring Space, meeting Amazing Animals, and diving into adventures with Pirates and Mermaids, our topics are chosen to excite and inspire—both indoors and outdoors.

We value strong partnerships with families and believe that working together helps every child thrive. Our Early Years community is a place where learning is joyful, friendships blossom, and every child is celebrated for who they are.
