Year 1 & 2 Visit Ripon Workhouse
On Wednesday, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed an exciting and memorable trip to Ripon Workhouse Museum. It was an amazing experience for the children, who were able to step back in time and discover what life was like for people living and working in a Victorian
workhouse.

During the visit, pupils explored the original dormitories, kitchens and workrooms, learning about the daily routines and challenges faced by the poor in the 19th century. They tried out hands on activities, asked fantastic questions, and impressed staff with their curiosity and enthusiasm.

The trip brought their history learning to life and helped them deepen their understanding of
the past in a meaningful and engaging way.

What to look forward to:
School Trips and Residential Visit
This term we have lots of exciting school trips planned for the children. Full details for each trip, along with the consent forms, can now be found on Arbor. Please take a moment to log in and check any upcoming events for your child. Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough voluntary contributions, we will be unable to go ahead and may have to cancel some of these trips. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps us continue offering these valuable learning experiences.

Looking ahead, our residential for our current year 4 and 5, visiting Peat Rigg is also taking place in November. Information and payment options for the residential are now available on Arbor as well.
